Wherever there is a need in Rock County you'll find the Salvation Army. We help our community in many ways; providing housing, overcoming poverty, and helping cure hunger. Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of lodging to those in need. Our group homes, emergency shelters, and transitional living centers provide housing, food, and overnight lodging for varying amounts of time to destitute families, the homeless, the displaced, and to youth where family care is undesirable or unavailable. Through our holistic approach to serving the whole person, we supplement every shelter service with emotional and spiritual support. Through programs that serve the body, mind and soul, we alleviate the symptoms of poverty, then work to address the root issues that cause it. This holistic approach helps create sustainable change in millions of lives, every single day. To help make a difference in your community, apply today!
