Job Summary This position will have the full responsibility of coordinating the Second Chance Pell (SCP)/Prison Education Program (PEP) at Arizona State Prison Complex (ASPC)-Perryville. This includes working directly with Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Re-entry (ADCRR) in order to obtain qualified applicants. Additionally guiding the potential students through the entire process from being admitted to the college, to laptop check and bi-weekly check-ins to determine academic progress. Candidate will need to have knowledge of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as it relates to incarcerated students. In addition, duties will also include advising, correspondence and onsite career and technical education (CTE) students on academic pathways. Essential Functions 65% - Performs program coordination and administration including operational planning, program management and evaluation, problem-resolution and technical assistance directly related to SCP/PEP 25% - Designs, develops, maintains and delivers program resource information, presentations, reports, correspondence, and promotional material 10% - Creates and maintains files, records and databases. Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
