Senior Manager, Channel Operations Performance (Hybrid)

You will be accountable for building and maintaining the value of the distribution channel. You will have oversight of all customer segments, alignment with enterprise strategic goals, channel-level prioritization, profit and growth actions, product configuration, channel performance and mix of business.
You will report to the Director, Partner Distribution.

Position Compensation Range:

$109,000.00 - $185,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities


  • Create a collaborative, performance-driven work environment by facilitating and fostering trust, transparency, and inclusion. Works with team members to set clear goals, provide feedback, perform performance assessments, and support on-going development
  • Lead with influence and expertise. Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicates and supports organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices
  • Oversee product configuration including product offering and underwriting risk appetite
  • Drive and quantify underwriting and agency management actions
  • Oversees premium and production planning
  • Oversee analytical insights for key performance indicators to deliver insight to line operations
  • Inform business on key elements to drive profitability, growth, and retention results, including expense management and oversight
  • Oversee sales analytics to support sales regional and state execution and lead target market

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements


  • Demonstrated knowledge of insurance products in area of specialty
  • Demonstrated decision-making based on use of data and financial analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, change management, and personnel management experience
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service
  • Demonstrated insurance product operations background in area of specialty
  • Demonstrated management or leadership experience in area(s) of specialty
  • Solid knowledge of process improvement methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance business acumen, business planning, and financial skills
  • Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills

Additional Job Description

In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 35-50 miles of the following office location: Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.
