Description

This position will report into the Americas Supply Chain team. It will be in support of the entire Americas region which includes seven subsidiaries: US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and Chile. Additionally, this role also covers a cluster of export distributors for roughly thirty countries.

The primary focus of this role is to support the Americas Regional Demand Manager with allocation management decisions and drive communication and coordination.

This role will have some routine activities to reoccur over time, which may include:

  1. Lead North & South America Equipment allocations, making fair and informed decisions.
  2. Monitor Equipment inventory level at the Regional Distribution Center and alert about supply risks.
  3. Be the primary contact for Equipment availability. Build and maintain strong internal communication and offer timely feedback for any inquiry.
  4. Developing and/or enhancing KPI tracking tools (forecast consumption, days on hand, backorders, fill rate, etc.) using Tableau.
  5. Ad Hoc analysis and data extracts to support global and/or local supply & demand planning initiatives.
  6. Conduct monthly meetings with internal stakeholders to review sales history and forecasts and discuss corrective action to forecasts where required.
  7. Understand & interpret data, identify issues, analyze causes and provide well-reasoned conclusions and solutions.
  8. Serve as liaison to subsidiary supply chain teams to provide guidance on new product scope and forecast families as well as changes in existing products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics or International Business
  • Must be Microsoft Office proficient (especially Excel)
  • SAP ECC or SAP APO DP knowledge is a plus. Tableau experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of supply chain management practices and processes
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize and draw conclusions on data
  • Self-motivated and a quicker learner
  • Effective communicator
  • Comfortable taking a lead in an international setting
  • Time management and the ability to multitask are important elements to the role
