Title: Manufacturing Engineer Duration: 12 months (possible extension or conversion into FTE) Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 Shift: 2^nd shift (4 PM - 2 AM; Mon - Thurs) Description: Supporting 1 catheter product - diagnostic; mix of electrical, magnetic, mechanical product building Bachelors in engineering required; internship experience, hands on experience preferred 0-3 years of experience preferred; 10+ years' experience may be overqualified as position is entry level Will work frequently with Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PPT, etc.) Will be very hands on with production, building catheters (scrap dissections, working with operators, equipment troubleshooting) Previous medical device experience preferred Operation experience - front line, day to day hands on experience nice to have Being on clean room floor 80% of day, responding to escalations from Operators Defining and taking actions as needed Basic equipment troubleshooting Relationship building important Problem solving, proactive, work independently Having patience with varying personalities and cultures TA work, tutoring, babysitting nice to have as it shows coaching and teaching ability - strong interpersonal skills Interview Process: 30 min phone screen, onsite interview 90 mins (broken up into 3, 30-minute interviews) Team Structure Engineering Team 1 technician on 1st shift 2 engineers on 1st shift (including hiring manager) 1 engineer on 2nd shift (this role) Operations Team (2 shifts) ~60-80 operators 3 supervisors 5 Group Leads and Production Trainers
