Join us as our new Research Associate II - Animal Biosolutions

Welcome to Animal Biosolutions, Applied Research.

We support the development of new biological solutions aimed at enhancing health and sustainability in animal farming. As part of our team of 11 experienced scientists and research associates based in Arkansas, US, and Lyngby, Denmark, you will play a vital role with hands-on activities in the preparation and execution of animal research trials. This includes managing data as well as overseeing and maintaining laboratory and animal facilities. As a global company, we collaborate locally, internationally, externally, and across disciplines, with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Supporting our animal research trials; including preparation, execution, and collection of trial-specific data and samples

• Data registration and data package management

• Maintenance of animal and laboratory facilities

• Conducting laboratory analysis on biological samples

• Developing and optimizing new analytical procedures

To succeed you must hold:

• Minimum BSc in animal science, poultry science, biology, agricultural engineering, or related discipline

• Preferably 3 years of work experience

• Collaborative and open mindset

• Desired knowledge of microbiology, immunology, and animal health

• Experience with data collection and data management in a research setting

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

• Practical animal and laboratory experience is preferred

• Some local travel may be required for this position

• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship currently or in the future

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas

Expected salary range: $50,000-$70,000
