Building Coordinator - Dean's Office

Description The Building Coordinator reports directly to the Building Operations Manager and works under the supervision of the Building Team Lead. This role is responsible for facilitating the delivery of building management services to occupants of DGSOM buildings, coordinating with other organizations to ensure efficient operations. The Building Coordinator places particular emphasis on fulfilling the terms outlined in specific Sales & Services agreements.

Salary Range: $28.39 - 43.26 Hourly
Qualifications Required:
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated excellence in teamwork for internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Knowledgeable in DGSOM, Facility Management (FM), and Building Operations procedures and processes, Service request system and outside venders
  • Working Knowledge of UCLA and DGSOM financial systems and practices including DGSOM procurement portal, bruin buy, FM Billing with blanket and FAU, Facilities Services request (FSR) system
  • Good Judgement in issues that may affect public safety
  • Ability to follow through with tasks despite frequent interruptions
  • Keep up to date on all online and in person training requirements
  • Ability to be flexible in work location and to provide consistent support to team and building occupants

Preferred:
  • Strong verbal communication skills. Spanish language skills
