Chief Financial Officer

Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer in our corporate office in Oak Ridge, TN.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Financial planning: Tracking cash flow, analyzing financial strengths and weaknesses, and proposing corrective actions
• Strategic planning: Defining the company's future to improve business performance and shareholder value
• Financial reporting:

• Producing internal and external financial reports
• Update monthly forecast
• Monthly Financial Report
• Quarterly BOA report

• Cash management: Ensuring sufficient cash flow to sustain growth
• Working capital: Enhancing working capital
• Compliance

• Audit: oversee financial audit. Responsible for any other audits (DCAA, internal controls, accounting system audit, etc)
• Maintain accounting procedures, internal controls, chart of accounts, etc.
• Maintain fixed assets / depreciation schedule
• The development of indirect and direct government rates

• Month-End and Year End Close

• True up entries
• Asset schedule cleanup - removing discarded items. Also used for Personal Property Tax Return
• Deferral of Fixed Price contract costs
• Tax Liability
• Accruals true up (Tax prep, audit, etc)

• Miscellaneous

• Federal contracting experience a must
• CPA preferred
• Unanet experience preferred
• 20 plus years of accounting
• BS in accounting or finance
• Masters of accountancy preferred
