Salary: $75,000 - $80,000

Job Summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Evening Bar Manager to join our team at the prestigious Kennedy Center in D.C. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead and manage our bars, coordinating fine dining and mixology operations to deliver flawless service.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully implement and manage all bar operations, ensuring that service standards are strictly adhered to.

  • Develop and train a team of skilled bartenders and support staff, encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • Coordinate inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining mixology and liquor supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all bar areas.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to build innovative and appealing drink menus.

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, ensuring targets are met and costs are controlled.

  • Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a food/hospitality role, with a focus on fine dining and mixology.

  • Strong knowledge of liquor and beverage programs, including wine, spirits, and craft cocktails.

  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to work a PM schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Diligent in managing multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
