STS Technical Services is currently looking for a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, modification, and troubleshooting of avionics equipment, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and maintaining the highest quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics equipment, including radar, radio, and navigation systems on aircraft, in compliance with company policies, manuals, and FAA regulations.
  • Utilize diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and technical data to accurately locate part numbers and perform repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards for safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support avionics and aircraft maintenance operations.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, candidates must meet the following qualifications:



  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of avionics experience or relevant training.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using technical data, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to perform repairs and troubleshoot avionics systems.
  • Licensing: FAA certifications are preferred but not required.
