Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Warehouse Coordinator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and operating the organization's warehouses, including efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing and ordering of equipment, materials and supplies. Responsible for receiving and shipping parts in an efficient manner. Provides project and service support to field colleagues and supports office colleagues as needed. May provide support for fleet and facilities management programs. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

Coordinate's material and equipment from purchase to delivery and warehousing through issuance for installation in the field. This includes but is not limited to:



  • Administers and coordinates use of warehouse space and storage, while maintaining safety and efficiency. Parcels range in size from one-pound boxes to pallets and large freight shipments.
  • Interfaces directly with Site Supervisor, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Sales Support Executives, and the Engineering team to plan and prioritize purchasing activities, material organization and site deliveries.
  • Ordering, tracking, receiving, storing and maintaining inventory of all project equipment, materials, supplies.
  • Maintains Service spares inventories.
  • Successfully coordinates with other teams to identify and resolve warehouse/purchasing related challenges.
  • Inspects ladders and other applicable field equipment per safety standards/requirements. Collaborates with Safety Team.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • 1-3 years relevant warehousing or shipping/receiving
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation

Experience
