FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Position Summary

The Supervisor for Spiritual Care Program organizes the pastoral care program for the Inland Northwest region as part of the multi-disciplinary team, assuring programs and services contribute to the healing environment and adequate spiritual support and care of a comprehensive patient care program. The incumbent provides holistic interventions/counseling services to patients, the families of patients, employees, medical staff and students. The Supervisor ensures compliance with accreditation standards and provides for excellence in service to the critically and/or terminally ill, disabled, disadvantaged and individuals of various ethnic and religious groups. Internal contacts include staff and management throughout the organization. External contacts include patients, families, local clergy and religious leaders and outside service agencies.

Requirements


  • Master's degree in theology, ministry or pastoral care required
  • Three Units of Clinical Pastoral Education
  • Certification as a board certified chaplain preferred
  • Three (3) years of pastoral experience
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $63,873.00 - $91,915.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
