TRC is seeing a Vice President, Business Development for our Infrastructure Sector in Southern California for leading business development efforts in the Southern region and provide nationwide leadership for TRCs expanding Program Management and Design practice. As a key member of the Infrastructure Sector leadership team, provide leadership and expertise around TRC-s Environment and initiatives for target clients.

• Develop client relationships through direct client contact to capture new and follow-on work, expand TRC service offerings, and support TRC value propositions.
• Position TRC within target markets to increase visibility and connectivity to client decision-makers and strategic teaming partners.
• Engage in industry events to expand brand recognition within target end markets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, and delivery of responsive, high-quality services for to the infrastructure sector
• Work with project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings, and help to maintain strong relationships with key planning leaders throughout the US.
• Lead and mentor project managers on strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings and help maintain strong relationships with key leaders within the TRC Infrastructure Sector.
• Review RFQs and assist in preparing proposals.
• Cross-sell and increase business from accounts under management, working with other company project managers and sales professionals on developing efficient business development strategies for new and existing customers.
• Participate in strategic growth initiatives to expand TRCs client and delivery footprint across the country.
• Drive organic growth of operation through new service areas and expansion of existing service areas.
• Have strong communications skills both written and oral.
• Interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.

• Bachelor of Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills to deal with internal/external clients.
• Strong attention to detail to quality control the projects and submit required deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects of medium to large complexity.
• Excellent, organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Work with limited supervision. Track / monitor / report on various deliverables. Prioritize and organize own work. Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills. Attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, MS Projects, Primavera P6, Computer based Earned Value Management, Cost Control, Schedule Control, Resourcing management, Risk Management, Project Management Tools.
• Valid Driver's License.
