Job Summary

The Corporate Fleet Technology Manager will provide field support, develop best practice strategies, and will continually strive to evolve/improve our Fleet Technology platform. Our goal is to continually increase the utilization of fleet assets and knowledge of Fleet/Logistics personnel through using technology and best practices to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of fleet operations.

  • Proficient in Fleet Software and Technology
    • On board Computers, Dash Cameras, Trailer/Plant Equipment GPS Trackers, and Asset Maintenance Software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products
  • Clear, Detailed, and Professional Communication Skills
  • Project and Implementation Coordinator
  • Support, mentor and provide guidance to plant Fleet and Logistics' personnel; continual increase in the utilization of fleet assets.
  • Provide management assistance, oversight and feedback to plant GMs, Operations Management, and Corporate Executive team.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Fleet Technology software; capable of training others at plant level.
  • Balance of mechanical and technical ability with regard to fleet operations.
  • Detail oriented; highly organized
  • Ability to work well with internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem analysis and assessment for solutions
  • Self-starter; self-motivated
  • Knowledgeable in DOT Regulations

Physical Demands

  • Position entails approximately 50% travel annually.
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stop, kneel, crawl and crouch.
  • Frequently required to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job duties could be carried out in multiple environments such as plant, office, and remote.
