As an License and Title Coordinator, Here's What You'll Do:

The License and Title Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of licensing transactions, developing and maintaining working knowledge in jurisdictional regulations, requirements and procedures, and assisting others in resolving licensing related challenges.

License and Title Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:



  • Process licensing transactions including initial title and registration (MSO), renewals, replacements, state and ownership transfers
  • File, pay, and dispute vehicle registration related taxes
  • Research, process, and pay vehicle violations including toll, camera, and parking
  • Administrative support for other Union products and services
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge in all jurisdictions and processing methods
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on DMV software and related applications
  • Complete forms, affidavits, POAs, and other documentation as required by the jurisdiction
  • Report on performance of vendors including DMVs contacts, tag agents, software providers and other title and registration service providers
  • Use data, metrics, and reports to prioritize daily workload, select vendors, and identify issues before they impact the customer
  • Identify requirements needed to complete transactions and communicate to designated contact including Union account managers, drivers, and fleet managers
  • Occasional external customer contact to provide transaction status and address licensing related questions
  • Update jurisdictional and Union Leasing training and reference materials
  • Scan, update systems, and file legal documents to ensure company has all necessary documentation archived
  • Work from home and in office as determined by company leadership. Work from home responsibilities include use of company provided equipment, secure storage and transport of documents and other licensing materials, and local travel to the post office, shipping vendors, and DMV locations
  • Administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, mail distribution, and shipping. Provide coverage when License and Title Administrator is out of office
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Responsibilities include the expectation to always act to support the interests of the department and organization and to perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful achievement of departmental and company objectives.


Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in this Role:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of License and Title experience preferred
  • Toll, camera, and parking violation processing experience preferred
  • Experience using a variety of licensing vendors (DMVs, tag agents) and programs (inquiry websites, DMV third party applications)
  • Customer service experience


Skills



  • Knowledge and understanding of title and license processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with vendors and customers
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly accurate data input skills
  • Ability to work independently


Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers and fax machines. Store and transport documents and other licensing materials (up to 25lbs).

Working Conditions

This position will be based out of our office in Oak Brook, Illinois. Until the Company moves to Oak Brook in early 2026, this will temporarily work out of the office in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role also offers remote work flexibility with 3 days in office, and 2 days remote.

Compensation/Benefits

The hiring range for this role is: $44,210.00 to $60,000.00 USD Annual. This role is classified as non-exempt for purposes of all applicable wage and hour laws, which means that the individual hired will receive overtime pay for more than 40 hours worked in a workweek. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on financial and personal performance throughout the plan year.

Sasser is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay ranges are assigned to a job based on market data according to 3rd party salary benchmarking surveys. Actual base salary is dependent upon factors such as knowledge, skill level, and experience.
