Business Analyst with a focus on HR/Recruiting to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a talented
Business Analyst with a strong background in
Human Resources (HR) and
recruiting to support our HR technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze and optimize HR and recruiting processes, manage system implementations, and deliver actionable insights to improve efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting teams to understand business needs, workflows, and system requirements.
- Analyze current HR and recruiting processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Document functional and technical requirements for HRIS, ATS, and other related systems.
- Evaluate and streamline talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR workflows.
- Stay informed about industry best practices in HR and recruiting to recommend process enhancements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Lead or support the implementation and optimization of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, payroll, and recruiting tools).
- Provide actionable insights using data to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR and recruiting-related projects.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions to gather input, provide updates, and resolve issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align HR technology initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end users on new systems and processes.
- Support change management initiatives to drive adoption of HR and recruiting solutions.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on HR and recruiting processes.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruiting strategies, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, UKG, Handshake, USA Jobs).
- Experience with process mapping and workflow tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Basic understanding of system integration and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience with talent management and employee engagement tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based HR solutions and SaaS platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
