Assistant Residential Director

The May Institute is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and dynamic Assistant Residential Director to lead the way in providing top-notch care and supervision at three of our adolescent group homes in Randolph, Massachusetts. This full-time role includes a mix of evening and weekend hours - perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment!

What You'll Do:

As our Assistant Residential Director, you'll be at the heart of our residential programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly and up to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Charge: Supervise and support 3 of our amazing Program (house) Managers to create a safe, thriving environment for both our staff and the adolescents in our care.
• Keeping Things on Track: Oversee residential operations of the group homes, including maintenance, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Team Player: Collaborate with a variety of teams, from Quality Improvement to Clinical Support, to keep everything running efficiently.
• Event Planning Extraordinaire: Help plan fun and enriching residential events that engage and inspire the people we serve.
• On-Call Support: Share on-call responsibilities and help guide the team through any challenges that arise.
• Documentation & Compliance: Keep all licensing documentation up-to-date and maintain accurate records to meet required standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: A background in supervision (5+ years) with operational responsibilities in a related field - ideally with experience working with adolescents or in a residential setting.An understanding of ABA that allows the candidate to coordinate with the Clinical team.
• Leading by example: The ability and confidence to guide staff through de-escalation and physical management procedures.
• Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience is equally valuable!
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort with computers and basic software - you'll be managing documents and scheduling with ease.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities are a must! You'll be working with families, staff, and other teams.
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently between sites.
