High-Frequency Communications Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support and assist U.S. Air Force (USAF) clients on policy, strategy, and governance for high-frequency (HF) communications, including High-Frequency Global Communications Systems (HFGCS) and waveforms. Coordinate with diverse groups of DoD stakeholders across the world to maintain an awareness of warfighter communications needs and efforts to field technical solutions. Assess and advise on modernization requirements, issues, and solutions. Support USAF clients in governance forums on topics including tactical, strategic, and NC3 communications, cryptography, and waveform technology. Advise clients on approaches to advocate for HF communication initiatives in USAF and DoD budget processes. Develop and implement strategies for aligning disparate platforms, missions, and communications networks and architectures across the USAF enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Government, Military, or IT divisions

  • Experience with HF communications infrastructure

  • Knowledge of HF radio technology, including waveforms, radios, antennas, aircraft, gateways, or ground and space touch points

  • Knowledge of DoD processes, requirements, acquisition, and resourcing

  • Ability to understand tactical objectives and assess solutions and architectures

  • Ability to coordinate with clients or leadership for time sensitive tasks, including development of papers and briefings tailored to the appropriate audience

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with USAF processes for requirements, acquisition, and resourcing

  • Knowledge of ground and aircraft HF radio technology specific to the USAF

  • Knowledge of DoD and USAF NC3 governance

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
