Azure Security Analyst

STS Technical Services is looking for a talented Azure Security Analyst to join our team and help safeguard our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in protecting our Azure environments by identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing security events, and ensuring our compliance with industry best practices.

Monitoring & Threat Analysis:

• Analyze real-time security events, detect anomalies, and respond to potential threats across Azure cloud environments.
  
• Create detailed incident reports and recommend actionable strategies for threat mitigation.
  
• Leverage advanced security tools and dashboards to continuously monitor Azure environments.
  

Vulnerability Assessments:

• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments for Azure-based systems.
  
• Identify vulnerabilities and address gaps in the infrastructure to strengthen security posture.
  

Policy Development, Compliance & Incident Response:

• Develop and enforce Azure-specific security policies and practices.
  
• Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents within Azure services.
  
• Establish and maintain an effective incident response plan for Azure workloads.
  

Continuous Improvement & Training:

• Stay ahead of emerging Azure security tools, features, and threats.
  
• Propose enhancements to improve Azure security architecture.
  
• Conduct security awareness training for employees, focusing on Azure-specific risks and preventive strategies.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• 2+ years of experience in Azure security, cloud security, or a related role.
  
• Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.
  
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and identity/access management.
  
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and network security protocols.
