This position supervises the operation of the phlebotomy team by supervising personnel and overseeing day-to-day workflow.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High school graduate or equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Associate degree in healthcare related field. Completes departmental training and orientation and assigns departmental staff. Supervises and evaluates the effectiveness of employees on an ongoing basis. 7. Ensures that the staff is properly trained for specimen type, proper receipt into the LIS, troubleshooting of missing samples and orders.
