Position Summary

The University of New Mexico's
Health and Health Sciences is New Mexico's healthcare and academic medicine
leader. Our UNM Health Sciences includes the School of Medicine, College of
Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Population Health, Project ECHO,
Center for Native American Health and more. UNM Health System, including UNM Hospital
and Sandoval regional Medical Center provides the highest quality of care for
more than 200,000 New Mexicans each year.

As a single incumbent position reporting to the Chief of Staff, work
collaboratively within a team to coordinate and advance the work of executive
University Health and Health Sciences leaders. Ensures operational efficiency
and effectiveness within the Office of the Executive Vice President/CEO. Supports and sustains a culture of service,
professionalism, and continuous improvement in the executive's organizational units.
Serves as a trusted adviser to the Chief of Staff and represents executive
leadership in delegated projects and initiatives designed to achieve the
priorities and objectives of the EVP/CEO office. May manage office staff of the
executive's organizational units.

This person will actively
participate in building strong relationships across all UNM in addition to UNM
Health Sciences and UNM Health Systems by engaging in communicative,
collaborative, and respectful relationships with those serving in leadership
roles. Manages special projects
including matters involving University officials and community leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in related
field

* Experience working within a health or health sciences system

*
Experience working on legislative initiatives/government relations within an organization

* Demonstrated experience working with diverse community leaders and leading
community engagement initiatives

* Experience managing visible and impactful projects
at an executive level

* Experience in managing teams
