Are you ready to drive success, inspire teams, and ensure compliance excellence in affordable housing?

We're searching for a dynamic Compliance & Lease-Up Administrator who thrives on solving challenges, streamlining processes, and empowering teams to meet and exceed expectations. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring our affordable housing programs succeed during critical lease-up phases-all while traveling to support and train onsite teams and working remotely when not in the field.

If you're an expert in affordable housing compliance with a passion for training, mentoring, and creating efficient systems, this could be the opportunity for you to make a real difference!

What You'll Do

As the Compliance & Lease-Up Administrator, you'll wear many hats and make a significant impact. Here's how:

  • Lead the Charge in Compliance Excellence: Be the go-to expert on affordable housing programs, ensuring all properties meet regulatory requirements for Section 8, Tax Credit, HOME, and more.
  • Empower On-Site Teams: Train, coach, and mentor lease-up managers and onsite teams, turning complex compliance standards into clear, actionable goals.
  • Transform Data into Results: Analyze property performance during lease-ups, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions to achieve occupancy and compliance targets.
  • Streamline Operations: Develop workflows, timelines, and tools that make lease-ups efficient and stress-free-because great results shouldn't mean unnecessary headaches.
  • Be a Problem-Solver: Step in when lease-ups need extra support, providing hands-on assistance and strategies to overcome roadblocks.
  • Keep Communication Flowing: Act as the bridge between compliance, operations, and property teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and working toward success.

What You'll Bring

You're not just a compliance expert-you're a leader who thrives on making things happen. Here's what sets you apart:

  • Experience that Matters: You have at least five years of compliance experience in affordable housing, with deep knowledge of Section 8, Public Housing, Tax Credit, and HOME programs. Multifamily housing experience is a plus!
  • A Love for Training: Whether in the office or onsite, you enjoy sharing your expertise and watching teams grow under your guidance.
  • Tech-Savviness: You're proficient in Property Management Software (RealPage preferred) and other platforms, and you're skilled at turning data into actionable insights.
  • Clear Communication: You can take complex regulations and make them easy to understand for team members and residents alike.
  • A Go-Getter Attitude: You're ready to roll up your sleeves and travel wherever you're needed-helping our properties shine.

Why You'll Love This Role

  • Impact: Play a critical role in delivering safe, affordable housing while helping teams and residents thrive.
  • Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with a remote position and exciting opportunities to travel and make a difference onsite.
  • Growth: Bring your expertise to a company that values innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Challenge: No two days are the same-this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package:

    • Competitive salary starting at $75,000/year!
    • Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Flex Spending, and more!
    • 401K + Match: Generous company match of up to 6%.
    • Paid Time Off: 18 days of PTO and 11.5 paid holidays annually.
    • Education Reimbursement: Financial support for position-related coursework to help you grow in your career.
    • Team Development & Culture: Access to robust training programs, a DEI Committee, and a Culture Club dedicated to making your employee experience exceptional.
