Starlite Recovery Center is looking for a Physician Assistant to join our team! For over 66 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult clients in the heart of the Hill Country in Center Point, Texas, with caring and highly effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.Starlite Recovery Center is located in the Hill Country, approximately 20 minutes southeast of Kerrville, and approximately 30 minutes northwest of Boerne, Texas. Starlite Recovery Center is part of the Acadia Healthcare system, a provider ofaddiction, behavioral and mental health treatmentfacilities in the United States and Puerto Rico. We are opening a new dual diagnosis program and looking for aFull Time - Physician Assistant. The schedule can be flexible within a 5 day a week commitment. Sign on Bonus!! Overview: The Physician Assistant is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients. Responsible for conducting assigned aspects of the medical care of patients as allowed by state license guidelines. Responsibilities include medical management of patients at all levels of care provided by the clinic. Provide healthcare services typically performed by a physician under the supervision of a physician. Conduct complete physicals and provides necessary education, referral and follow-up services to patients. May, in some cases, prescribe medication as allowed by state regulation.
