Hill International is seeking a Sr. Specialist, Management Data Analysis in Pomona California



  • Responsible for analyzing/validating assumptions previously made in analytical problems.
  • Develop detailed dashboards, automate manual tasks, and create data validation methods for ongoing data analysis with big data.
  • Proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, overseeing advanced analytical solutions development, and communicating results.
  • Able to develop or prepare routine and ad-hoc reports to assist in the monitoring, managing, and forecasting of costs in response to internal or external data requests.
  • Responsible for modeling complex analytical problems, discovering insights and identifying opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques.
  • Organized, effective communicator (verbal and written), and drives actions to resolve issues.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks.


  • A combination of education, training, and experience, equivalent to those typically possessed by a 4-year college graduate.
  • Possesses 5+ years' experience in data engineering / analytics, using algorithms and data mining.
  • Proficient in Power BI Dashboard development.
  • Demonstrated advanced ability/knowledge with SQL, SAS, Microsoft software, and database tools (ability to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze large amounts of data).
  • Demonstrated advance knowledge, ability, and experience with dashboard, business intelligence, and visualization solutions.
  • Transmission or utility experience preferred.
  • Certified Analytics Professional preferred.


The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $117,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
