The Embedded Protector Overwatch Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive mental health services to Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Paramedics, Dispatchers, Corrections, Front Line Medical Workers, Military Service Members, Veterans and their family members within the Invisible Wounds Project in Forest Lake, MN. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and support for dealing with various emotional and psychological issues. The therapist collaborates with our partnered agency, family members, and/or additional external agencies to create a supportive environment that fosters overall wellness and resiliency.

Compensation:
  • The hourly rate for this position is $30/hr.
Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Preferred Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university OR pursuing Master's level clinical internship/practicum
  • Candidates will have clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP etc.
  • Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
  • Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and diagnosing mental health conditions.
  • Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!).
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide bridging therapy services as needed in which you may assess and diagnosis; create and implement a treatment plan; and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews and case notes
  • Provide education and resources for caregivers managing the well-being of their first responder partner
  • Assist in wellness programs and services as determined by the partnered agency, provide consultation to partnered agency staff
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and other agency staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings & trainings
