Position Highlights The University of Arizona's School of Art is accepting application for Limited Term Adjunct Instructors for Spring 2025 and Fall 2025. The Instructors will be required to teach undergraduate students in the Studio Art disciplines (2D, 3D & Extended Media, First Year Experience, Illustration|Design|Animation, and Photography|Video|Imaging). Courses are face-to-face and appointed based on department needs each semester, hours will vary depending on the courses taught. Appointments are one semester.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teaching studio-related courses on an as-needed basis in a studio format.
  • Engaging undergraduate students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and theory.
  • Upkeep of shared studio spaces.
  • Interaction with and mentorship of students out of class

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • University-level teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of University-level teaching experience.
