Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our assembly team. This role will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging products on an assembly line or independently in a manufacturing facility. A pump assembler works with a team to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is consistent, a team player, a great communicator, and can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects. Responsibilities: Assembly: * Assemble components and parts following detailed instructions * Read and understand the bill of materials and work order instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings * Complete assembly tasks, use various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses (may use cranes and hoists); Responsibilities may also include specialized work such as sheet metal bending and soldering * Stay updated on changes in assembly processes and product specifications * Meet or exceed production targets and quotas * Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily and monthly targets Quality Control: * Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications * Test and troubleshoot assemblies * Perform quality checks by established quality procedures and ISO requirements * Identify and report defects or issues in the assembly process and necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality Inventory Management: * Monitor and request materials and components as needed for assembly * Keep track of inventory levels and report shortages Training and Development: * Participate in training programs to improve assembly skills and product knowledge * Attend monthly EHS trainings * Follow all policies and procedures (i.e. report on time and ready to work - Start/Lunch/Breaks) Safety Compliance: * Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) * Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly. * Lift a maximum of 35 lbs for an individual and 70 lbs for a team lift * Test PSI limit no greater than 30,000 Cleanliness and Organization: * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED * 1+ years' experience in assembly or other fast paced operations Core Competencies: * Demonstrated time management skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability * General computer knowledge (i.e. log on credentials (SSO), JD Edwards, and Microsoft Outlook) * Ability to lift up to 35lbs Preferences: * Experience using various hand, pneumatic, and power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses * Ability to read and understand the bill of materials and work instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements: This position will be based at our site in Warrington, PA no travel.
