Position Summary

The Office of Sponsored
Projects is seeking a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working in a large team
setting with fast paced diverse duties. Tasks and duties to be performed 100%
in the office may include the following:


  • Front desk Coverage and main phone line
  • Maintain printers, scanners and copiers
  • Manage mail and postage
  • Monitor and direct assigned emails from osp@unm.edu
  • Respond to general inquiries with standard language
  • Schedule Space and Support Meetings
  • Create links or schedule meeting rooms for meetings
  • Post calendar items to Conference Room calendars
  • Data Entry
  • Maintain tracking sheets
  • Assist Management and Department Teams with special projects
  • Assist the Administrative Coordinator with other Administrative Support functions as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.



Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of office experience
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of computer and database systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to complete tasks independently
  • Studying Business or other related field
  • Work Study Eligible, but not required.
