ResponsibilitiesThe Histology department on the Iowa Methodist Medical Center campus is a newly designed area based on LEAN workflow principles. New, cutting edge equipment including a specimen tracking system from the industry leader is utilized to test a variety of specimens. Current testing volume is over 36,000 and growing. Responsible for operations, planning, organizing, maintaining and; controlling of lab functions within service, quality and; financial guidelines. Ensure timely and accurate clinical diagnostic information is provided to healthcare professionals so that patient care and customer service is of the highest quality. Successful experience with staff development. Previous Histology leadership preferred with at least 5 years of Histology experience preferred. QualificationsMinimum of two years of clincial experience. Bachelor's degree in related field required; Master's preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. | |
