Summary: Under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager Responsibilities: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for daily cleaning of equipment used in Maintains general neatness of unit to ensure hallways and Stocks patient rooms bedside carts with medical and/or Ensures proper set up of medical equipment/supplies in Delivers dirty equipment to CSD for proper cleaning Transports and retrieval of scopes Maintains order in utility room/s storage area/s and Picks up and delivers supplies such as routine supplies Checks equipment on unit (e.g.: MAK lifts scales Responds to patient call lights and immediately delivers Other information: BASIC KNOWLEDGE: High school graduate or General Reads writes and speaks Displays interpersonal skills to Ability to identify Mathematical abilities to read Ability to perform responsibilities in emergency/code Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide EXPERIENCE: Preferred but not required. Ambulatory experience preferred. Knowledge of specialized Emergency WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Exposure to patient environment with associated hazards Physical ability to lift carry push and deliver Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods while INDEPENDENT ACTION: Incumbent functions within a broad scope of department SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
