The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Sadelain Lab is looking for a motivated senior laboratory technician to join their team. This position will focus on CAR T cell studies in murine models. The Sadelain Lab investigates cell engineering for the treatment of cancers and other illnesses, including cancer, neurological diseases, and autoimmune and transplant-related conditions. The lab will be a foundational research group for the Columbia Initiative in Cell Engineering and Therapy (CICET), directed by Dr. Sadelain. Reporting to the Sadelain Lab Manager, the Senior Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the Sadelain mouse colonies, administer T cells, tumor cells and hematopoietic cells to mice, and perform various assays and analyses on cells retrieved from mice.
