Mid-Collection Management Instructor

Position Summary

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking an experienced Mid-Collection Management Instructor to support the Government in executing and enhancing DIA's HUMINT collection management course. Responsibilities include setting intelligence standards, ensuring quality control, and supporting DoD and DIA collection objectives. The role involves instructing DoD personnel on HUMINT collection management, including mission objectives, methodologies, and relevant IT systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Government in executing and modifying DIA's HUMINT collection management course instruction.
  • Assist the Government in setting and enforcing intelligence thresholds, exercising stringent dissemination and quality control, and aggressively supporting the collection posture of DoD and DIA.
  • Support the quality of DIA reporting and operations as it pertains to all aspects of HUMINT collection management.
  • Instruct DoD students in HUMINT collection management specific to the DoD HUMINT mission, authorities, and functions; collection requirements, platforms, and methodologies; operations support; operational processes; administrative processes and reports; and related IT systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • CI Poly (Preferred)
  • A minimum of eight (8) years' experience functioning as a CIA, Directorate for Operations Certified Collection Manager Officer(CMO) with no less than one (1) field assignment in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a CMO or have a minimum of eight (8) years' experience functioning as a HUMINT Collection Manager (HCM) or equivalent (Collection Operations Manager, Collection Requirements Manager, etc.) within the DOD.
  • Be a graduate of a recognized IC level HUMINT Collection Management course, such as HUMINT Collection Operations Manager Course (HCOM), HUMINT Collection Management Officer (HCMO), HUMINT Collection Managers Course (HCMC) or an IC school equivalent.
Salary Range
$130,000 - $137,000
This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary. When extending an offer, DarkStar Intelligence considers various factors, including (but not limited to) the job's responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other relevant laws.
