Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee paving crew and other activities on the paving project
- Activities include traffic control, sub-contractor work, paving operations and trucking
- Coordinate paving crew, sub-contractors, trucking and plant for asphalt lay down operations
- Communicate effectively with superintendent, inspectors, and contractors
- Assure quality of work in all aspects of asphalt paving
- Assure safety of all crew members and operations
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum of five (5) years of related construction experience with an emphasis in asphalt paving, streets, highways, and commercial projects
- Needs ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Must have skill in operating all types of paving equipment
- Must have a positive attitude and proven track record of working with well with others
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience supervising others
- Must have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and safety
