Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Help maintain and repair construction equipment, trucks, mixer trucks, including preventative
maintenance work, hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding
- May perform service repairs in the field
- May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8
trucks/trailers, mixer trucks, construction equipment and crushing equipment.
- Complete all paperwork that may be necessary
- Must have own journeyman hand tools, but Knife River does provide large tools and has a replacement
policy.
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes
and behaviors observed.
- Other duties assigned as needed

Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Friday.
Wage differential ($3) included for Swing shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Previous mechanical experience on construction equipment, class 8 trucks, and mixer trucks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Welding and fabrication experience desirable
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
