The seventh college at Georgia Tech and the first to be established in over thirty years, the College of Lifetime Learning aims to advance the academic study of learning and revolutionize how individuals and organizations understand and practice learning across all levels and ages. The college comprises 25 academic faculty and 20 research faculty who lead a rigorous research agenda. This position will collaborate closely with faculty to develop and submit competitive proposals. Job Summary
Serve as a unit level team leader, expert advisor, and consultant within a college, an academic unit, a research unit, or a business unit on matters related to sponsored research program administration in accordance with Institute and sponsor policies. Provide pre-award and post-award funds management for sponsored research programs. Advise department financial staff and investigators on issues related post-award grant management. Provide advanced financial record management, reporting, accounting, and reconciliation. Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to other grant administration, finance, or accounting personnel. This position will interact on a regular basis with: principal and co- investigators, unit management, faculty, staff, students, vendors, and external sponsors. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit financial or accounting staff, faculty, staff, and students. This position will supervise: N/A. Responsibilities
