Job Description

You will be part ofEnergy division,To meet the fast-paced developments the energy sector is witnessing and overcome the challenges posed by the green transition, Ramboll offers a strategic approach to energy that considers both the energy demand and supply. Our experience and holistic perspective on energy planning enable us to find innovative solutions that provide long-term benefits to our clients, the environment, and society.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing and managing a project team of energy engineers.
  • Developing and managing project schedules.
  • Developing and managing project budgets.
  • Managing a team that will perform energy assessments to identify energy and cost savings measures (ASHRAE Level 1-3 energy audits)
  • Overseeing utility billing and interval data analysis, and energy benchmarking
  • Overseeing spreadsheet analysis to estimate energy and cost savings of proposed energy efficiency measures (EEMs)
  • Overseeing construction cost estimates for EEMs and determining economic results (e.g., via simple payback period and life cycle cost analysis)
  • Assessing renewable energy potential at client sites
  • Overseeing Measurement & Verification (M&V) activities including data analysis
  • Working with and supporting company design engineers and construction managers to implement energy efficiency projects.
  • Overseeing the development of Clean Energy Master Plans and Decarbonization Plans
  • Supporting building commissioning activities
  • Summarizing engineering analyses/results in written reports (and planning documents) and presentations that are cohesive and of the highest quality

As our new Energy Engineer, you will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • At least a B.S or M.S degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering from an accredited institution and 3+years relevant project management work experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Auditing including IAC training is a plus
