Role and Responsibilities:


As a Food Service Worker, you'll help keep our dining area clean and safe.



  • Work with alongside a team that primarily consists of adults with disabilities and/or disabling conditions.

  • Set up and take down drink stations, making sure they are always stocked.

  • Clean and sanitize dining tables, and keep dessert cases filled.

  • Help set up and serve meals in the serving area.

  • Mop floors to keep them clean and safe.

  • Vacuum carpeted areas regularly.

  • Dust furniture and fixtures to keep the place tidy.

  • Clean and disinfect washroom floors, toilets, and sinks.

  • Keep mirrors clean.

  • Empty trash cans and take garbage outside for disposal.

  • Clean doors and windows to make a good impression.

  • Follow safety rules to keep everyone safe.


Requirements:



  • No experience, No Problem.



    Physical Demands:



    • Standing for long periods

    • Lifting and carrying heavy items

    • Bending, reaching, and squatting

    • Manual dexterity for food preparation

    • Fast-paced movements and multitasking


    Environmental Demands:



    • Hot and cold temperatures (kitchen and storage areas)

    • Exposure to cleaning chemicals

    • Noise from kitchen equipment and customer traffic

    • Working in close proximity to others

    • Repetitive tasks
