The Levy Group of Companies is seeking an Operator/Plant Maintenance candidate to work at our American Aggregate Ray Rd location in Oxford, MI. The Operator/Plant Maintenance position performs various maintenance duties in plant, pit, and other tasks as assigned. Pay: Starting at $23.71 Shift/Schedule: Night Shift Starting at 5 PM (Training Day Shift) Benefits Competitive benefits Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Equipment Operator will: Use machinery to regulate the flow, quality, and size of materials to and from conveyors, crushers, and screens Operate mobile equipment such as excavator, bulldozer, loader, and dredge Inspecting and troubleshooting machines and equipment to locate malfunctions' causes and correct the problem. Service plant and pit equipment as needed (e.g. minor adjustments and lubrication) Keep the work area clean and tidy Repair and replace defective parts Shovel aggregate under conveyors and around the plant Perform other projects as assigned by the supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of equipment (e.g., conveyor lines, crusher, hot plant, wash plant, conveyor lines) Knowledge of materials and specification requirements Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of equipment or at elevated heights Ability to manipulate components in hard-to-reach places with hands or tools Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings Ability to work in an environment with noise and temperature variations Ability to work around water Valid Driver's license To Apply Please submit your resume.
