Job Description

To support all the attraction, hiring and onboarding activities of Omni Las Palmas Resort & Spa. Provide administrative support for implementing Omni culture, and other programs that help the Associate Services team meet its mission statement, strategic objectives, and standard operating procedures.



Responsibilities

    Create and help maintain personnel files; assist with file rotation and retention according to legal guidelines and company procedures.
  • Manage HRIS to ensure compliance with applicant flow log, drug testing, I9's, background & reference check, etc.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Maintains file organization adhering to file retention laws.
  • Coordinates and assists in associate events/recognition programs.
  • Tracks/maintains all certifications to ensure legal compliance.
  • Support other HR related tasks as needed


Qualifications

  • Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends.
  • Familiar with Equal Employment Opportunity, OFCCP, AAP and other related labor laws required
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Office and Windows. Advanced skills with PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel required.
  • Experience in using HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking System preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, handle employee matters effectively and employee inquiries with sensitivity.

Pay: $28/hour. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
