Acadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager to join the team!

Location: This is a REMOTE position

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Training and Development Manager (TDM) for the Treatment Placement Specialists an initiative of Acadia Healthcare Team is responsible for training, developing, and coaching the Treatment Placement Specialists (TPS) upon hire and throughout the course of their employment under the guidance of the Director, Business Operations.

The TDM will be responsible for the development and execution of new-hire training programs and best practice training initiatives across the TPS Team. The TDM will identify training needs across the TPS Team and develop best practice trainings to be disseminated accordingly.

The TDM will work closely with the VP, Field Advisory Board (FAB), and TPS Marketing Coordinator to identify and develop collateral that will support the daily function of the TPS. Additionally, the TDM will work closely with the TPS Marketing Coordinator and facility DBDs to ensure program emails and social media postings are generated at a regular cadence and elevate program marketability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops and provides multi-phase training for newly hired Treatment Placement Specialists (TPS) in the areas of administration, routing, messaging, strategic targeting, triaging cases, event planning, and budgeting.
  • Develops self-study assignments and assessments for new TPS to educate themselves on the following: common terms, definitions, and acronyms pertaining to the disorders we treat and services we provide, differentiating services and modalities provided at our core and peripheral facilities, and processes and protocols for engaging with facility admissions, clinical, and management teams when triaging cases through the entire process.
  • Conducts field rides with new and developing TPS, providing guidance, feedback, and follow-up action points to both the TPS and assigned DBD.
  • Develops and delivers on-going best practice training to the TPS team on topics that will introduce and improve sales, performance, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Identifies collateral to meet the needs of, and provide support to, the TPS in order to increase daily efficiency, proficiency, productivity, and efficacy in the field, and the TPS will collaborate with the TPS Marketing Coordinator and marketing team to develop such collateral.
  • Assists facility-level DBDs in creation and execution of campaign monitor emails and social media postings.
  • Responsible for driving overall TPS performance and exceeding activity and volume targets in conjunction with rest of leadership team.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or comparable experience is required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in business development in a healthcare role; preferably in behavioral health.
  • Previous experience in a management, leadership, training, or teaching position that included assessing, evaluating, and developing others preferred.
  • Ability to develop and deliver individual and group trainings/workshops.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, lead, manage and drive business results through others.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
