What You'll Be Doing:


  • Assist with Recruitment:

    • Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews with potential candidates.
    • Post job advertisements on job boards and social media platforms.
    • Conduct initial phone screenings and assist in the interview process.




  • Employee Onboarding:

    • Prepare onboarding materials and assist in the orientation process for new hires.
    • Update and maintain employee records in the HRIS system.
    • Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
    • Ship new hire swag to field employees, set up desks for new hires




  • Create New hire onboarding agendas:

    • Support the deployment of the New Hire Onboarding Mentee program




  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist with the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents.
    • Pull staffing metrics weekly for the Staffing Open Position Report.
    • Work cross-functionally with AP teams to gather information needed for Contingent Worker reporting
    • Support the contingent workforce project
    • Aid the HR team with various administrative tasks and projects.




  • Employee Engagement:

    • Help organize and coordinate company events and employee engagement activities.
    • Maintain our new hire Motivosity space and build out engaging employee content
    • Create recruitment focused Social Media campaigns adhering to our Social Media policies




  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • In compliance with labor laws, research all state labor forms and create onboarding groups for each state
    • Support the preparation of HR reports and presentations.




What You Bring to the Table:


  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR and recruitment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week for the full 12 weeks (no vacation weeks) minus shut down the week of Fourth of July.
  • You enjoy collaborating with others and can resolve conflict with tact and professionalism.
  • You are fluent with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
  • You have a general tech-savvy ability to leverage modern technology.


Bonus Points If You Have:


  • Preferably within 1-2 years of graduation
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and recruitment tools.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Prior experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries
  • Project management certification
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana, Microsoft Project/Planner
  • You possess superior time management and organizational skills.
  • You have an intrinsic motivation to continually improve and optimize processes.
  • You take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and act on them without needing constant direction.
  • You are open to constructive criticism and use it to improve performance and grow professionally


When and Where You'll Shine:


  • Full-time commitment, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: Westlake Village, CA 91362
  • A reliable commute or the intention to find temporary housing before starting the internship is required.
