Our client is seeking a skilled Accounting Managerto join their finance team.The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations, managing the month-end close process, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. This role will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to support the company's financial goals and drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently oversee month-end & year-end close, financial analysis, business reviews, and other financial duties, ensuring alignment with standardized processes and procedures Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Maximize billing, drive collections, and forecast future cash opportunities to enhance branch cash performance. Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Coordinate with external auditors and furnish requisite information for the annual audit. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders. Communicate financial data and assist management personnel in comprehending the financial standing and reporting information. Qualifications: Highly, highly prefer someone with experience in the agriculture industry Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldrequired. MBA or equivalent highly preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle or SAP is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
