Job Description

The Program

Mallinckrodt is offering an 11-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you've learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Summary

  • The Procurement Sourcing Analyst will lead a project developing a Procurement Sourcing Tool enabling Procurement Category Managers to have key data points readily available to aid their sourcing decisions. This project will include developing a categorization model utilizing UNSPSC (United Nations Standard Products and Services Code) for current suppliers and potential suppliers as well as performing a deep dive analysis of suppliers across several categories to drive sourcing options.

This position is a Hybrid Role; Tuesday & Wednesday will be On-Site, while the others are remote.

Program starts on May 20th and ends on August 1st

Essential Functions

  • Working with internal stakeholders using design thinking concepts in the development of Procurement tools

  • Working with large data sets mostly in excel or similar software systems

  • Research and analyze procurement data and supplier market data

Minimum Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills:

  • Entering Graduate Degree Program, preferably in Supply Chain.

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Experience Creating Pivot Tables

  • Writing VBA Macros

  • Experience with analyzing data sets mostly in excel or similar software systems

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

  • Work with Direct Procurement Team.

  • Work with facility level stakeholders in Specialty generics and Specialty Brands.

  • Work with sourcing suppliers, as applicable.
