Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Hygiene Consultant for our growing Texas team. This role involves providing accomplished technical expertise in occupational health, with a focus on project execution and client satisfaction, conduction assessments, and developing strategic Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience, a deep understanding of EHS regulations, and a strong ability to work independently while managing client relationships. Residency near a Texas major market is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Lead or support the execution of moderate to complex industrial hygiene assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Travel to client locations for project work as needed. Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to cross-training efforts for safety and industrial hygiene (IH) teams. Serve as subject matter experts for clients, offering insights on best practices, risk assessments, and hazard controls. Assist in the development of project proposals, reports and technical documents. Work closely with the team to identify opportunities for expanding EHS services and integrating them into broader safety programs. Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements and technological advancements within the field. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project goals are met effectively and efficiently. Act as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term relationships with clients. Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications to ensure high-quality service and delivery. Qualifications: Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in related subject. Certifications: CIH (Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification preferred, or ability to acquire the CIH within 6 months. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, safety, or related EHS fields. Skills: Experience in consulting across diverse industries, including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or energy sectors. Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, specifically 29 CFR 1910 and 1926. Experience with related ISO standards preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven track record of successfully managing EHS projects and programs, with a focus on hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high attention to detail. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying opportunities and solving problems. Must be able to lift and move at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, and maintain a clean-shaven face to ensure proper respirator fit and use. Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a drug-free status throughout employment. Proficiency in relevant computer programs, including safety management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools, as required. Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high level of self-motivation and accountability. Why Join Us? The national standard salary range for this position is $90,200 -$139,800 . The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
