Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Juniper's Go-To-Market Legal team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager who will assist and support the Go-To-Market Legal department's dynamic group of legal professionals located throughout Juniper's offices worldwide. Primary responsibilities involve managing, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating sales-related contracts. This role requires interfacing with various departments outside of Legal, including Sales, Order Management, and Finance. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills as well as an ability to learn Juniper's policies and processes. This position will require professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information, working in an organized and efficient manner with high attention to detail, and handling multiple priorities at one time. This role may be located anywhere in the U.S. and will report to the Associate General Counsel, Senior Director in Go-To-Market Legal Americas.

Responsibilities include:



  • Administering and managing sales-related contracts from conception through post-execution. Tasks include reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders and answering contracts-related questions.
  • Supporting legal requests for RFPs, including any associated contractual review.
  • Administering the processing of signatures for a variety of documents and commercial agreements.
  • General database management activities, including maintaining templates.
  • Managing all projects in a timely manner to meet deadlines and provide high quality work.


Required Skills:



  • Drafting and redlining with an eye for detail and efficiency in drafting, including the ability to integrate company standards into customer agreements without wholesale deleting sections.
  • Ability to actively participate in contract negotiations both independently and alongside supervising attorneys to provide support and input from a contractual perspective.
  • Negotiation skills that include the ability to explain company positions and policies effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to achieve impactful results with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Critical and creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues.
  • High attention to detail and reading comprehension, including conducting quality assurance checks on redlined contracts to ensure accuracy and consistency in the implementation of revisions.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work well under pressure while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Detailed recordkeeping.
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and communicate standard operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Technical skills with a real passion for innovation, data, and continuous improvement.
  • Love of learning, curious mind, and good sense of humor.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related contract management experience.
  • Experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating complex technology agreements, including direct and indirect agreements for the sale of software, Software as a Service, hardware, and services.
  • Understanding of technology sales channels and associated agreements.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with content management/repository tools such as SharePoint and CLMS is highly desirable.


Minimum Salary: $117,600.00

Maximum Salary:$169,050.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $117,600.00 and $169,050.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
