Business Operations Lead

The Opportunity:

We are seeking highly skilled and detailed oriented Business Operations Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs while overseeing the operational efficiency of service delivery.You will be responsible for overseeing the overall operational management of a diverse portfolio of legal business systems. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You'll Work On:

  • Onboard new IT applications for extended support, gather background information, and review the engagement model with business stakeholders.

  • Serve as primary escalation support line for specified applications managed by business stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and enhance service quality.

  • Coordinate decommissions.

  • Assist delivery or development team to gather user requirements and develop user stories for new major initiatives.

  • Assist with UAT testing and validation to ensure alignment with business requirements and perform system and functional testing for new application enhancements.

  • Ensure operational documentation is maintained ensuring processes are standardized.

  • Track vulnerability remediation efforts across the service area.

  • Gather and report key performance metrics that reflect the health of operations of the service area.

  • Manage service requests, incidents, and change management processes to maintain operational continuity.

  • Serve as front escalation support line for monitoring specified applications managed directly by business stakeholders.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a business or system requirements analyst, including defining, simplifying, or translating business requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with SDLC methodologies and practices, including the creation and review of SDLC documents and artifacts

  • Experience with the Agile development methodology

  • Experience with SharePoint, Jira, Slack, Teams, Microsoft Office suite, and ServiceNow

  • Ability to document business rules and impacted processes or systems and functional and technical specifications to support the development of user stories and or cases

  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, comprehend the intent of a client's needs, and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

  • Ability to monitor system dashboards and balance priorities to execute operations support processes independently

  • Ability to accurately follow and manage updates of existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with general legal or employee case management, disclosure management, and other legal or security operations tools

  • Exposure to IBM Case Management

  • Ability to manage schedules and tasks for implementations, deployments, and operations

  • Ability to understand how various systems interact with each other

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
