ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations by managing invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will:



  • Own the Accounts Receivable Process - Accurately process invoices, post payments, and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Ensure Timely Collections - Monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding invoices, and work closely with customers to facilitate prompt payments.
  • Solve Problems & Drive Process Improvements - Investigate discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Be a Trusted Partner - Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and professional AR experience.
  • Stay Organized & Detail-Oriented - Maintain accurate financial records, support month-end close activities, and assist in reporting efforts.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience & Knowledge:



  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance roles.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (experience with [Insert ERP System Used, if applicable] is a plus!).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills-you're comfortable speaking with customers and colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.


Education:



  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
