Your Role on the Team The Executive Director of Development (EDOD) for Nursing and Health Advancement is a senior professional who will work collaboratively with the Dean of the School of Nursing and will serve as liaison for a designated community hospital. The incumbent will work collaboratively with University Advancement (UA) to lead the development program of the School of Nursing and establish and maintain a development program for an assigned community hospital and secure significant philanthropic investments to support both areas. They will maintain a portfolio of donor prospects that include the most influential, complex or highest rated donors within their assigned areas. The primary activity of the EDOD is externally focused to secure private philanthropic support and the EDOD's effectiveness will be evaluated on the ability to achieve financial goals and meet metrics. The EDOD reports directly to the Senior Executive Director of Development, with a dotted line to the Dean and community hospital leadership. The EDOD is expected to serve as a member of the leadership team for all areas they support and to also be a highly collaborative colleague with other development officers across Health Advancement and the UCI campus.
