Cognizant is seeking a Senior JAVA Architect to join our team. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

Role: Senior JAVA Technical Architect

Experience: Minimum of 9+ years of experience is mandatorily required

Location: We are ideally looking for candidates willing to work in a hybrid model from the client location in Charlotte NC or New Jersey. Remote work is not an option.

Hybrid Model - Day 1 Onsite

Hybrid Model - 3 days at Client's Office & 2 days Remote, each week

Required Skills

* 9+ years of development experience using Java technologies

* Possess strong experience in APIGEE Restful APIs and Microservices.

* Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript PL/SQL and JUnit5.

* Have hands-on experience with YAML and Spring Boot.

* Show expertise in using SONARQUBE for code quality assurance.

* Be skilled in managing Oracle Weblogic JMS.

* Have a solid understanding of Java and XML.

* Be well-versed in the Spring Framework.

* Have a background in Asset and Wealth Management domain.

* Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.

* Be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.

* Show a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

* Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with day shifts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced JAVA Architect with 9+ years of experience in Asset and Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in APIGEE Restful APIs Microservices JavaScript PL/SQL JUnit5 YAML Spring Boot SONARQUBE Oracle Weblogic JMS Java XML and Spring Framework.

* Design and develop scalable and efficient solutions using APIGEE Restful APIs and Microservices to meet business requirements.

* Implement and maintain robust applications using JavaScript PL/SQL and JUnit5 to ensure high-quality deliverables.

* Utilize YAML for configuration management and Spring Boot for creating stand-alone production-grade Spring-based applications.

* Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality using SONARQUBE to maintain high standards of software development.

* Manage and configure Oracle Weblogic JMS for messaging and integration purposes.

* Develop and maintain applications using Java and XML to support various business functions.

* Leverage the Spring Framework to build enterprise-level applications that are secure scalable and maintainable.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with best practices and standards in software development and architecture.

* Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality solutions that enhance the Asset and Wealth Management domain.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
