Overview:

Assist radiologist and/or performing physician in the performance of routine radiographic exams. Provide the patient care essential to the exams.This position does not work overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.

  • Licensure: ARRT and ARDMS registered. State licensure required in the applicable state of practice. Must maintain a current license and registration in field of modality(ies). RVT Registry or eligible for registry. Must complete registry within 90 days of hire.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical environment needed.

  • Certifications: CPR certified upon hire or complete training
    during the orientation period. Required certifications must be current before being assigned to care for patients independently.

  • Other: Must demonstrate human relations and communication skills. Ability to work in a variety of departments and ability to work well with others. Must be able to trouble shoot equipment repairs and problems. Must be able to identify and rapidly resolve problems, which may affect patient care. Use of desk top computers, copiers, faxes, and general office equipment

  • Preferred Experience: Prefer previous experience working with or relating to physicians. Multi-modality training and knowledge of Echocardiograms is a plus.
